Business Insurance Setup

One Claim Can Close a Business. Be Ready.

Insurance brokers take 10–15% commission and rarely compare options. Direct insurers like Hiscox quote one carrier at a time. Boojee compares GL, E&O, cyber liability, and commercial property across 8+ carriers — placed right the first time, reviewed every year so your coverage grows with you.

What We Cover

Every business is a different risk profile. We match the right policies to the right exposures.

General Liability

Bodily injury, property damage, personal injury, and advertising injury claims. The baseline every business needs before turning on the lights.

Professional Liability (E&O)

Errors & omissions protection for service-based businesses. Covers negligence claims, missed deadlines, and professional mistakes — before they become lawsuits.

Cyber Liability

Data breach response, ransomware recovery, notification costs, and third-party liability. Average SMB breach now costs $4.45M — coverage starts in the hundreds per year.

Commercial Property

Buildings, equipment, inventory, and leasehold improvements — covered for fire, theft, vandalism, and weather. Replacement cost vs. actual cash value guidance included.

Workers' Compensation

Required in most states the moment you hire. Covers medical bills and lost wages for on-the-job injuries — and protects you from employee lawsuits related to workplace incidents.

Business Interruption

Revenue replacement when a covered loss forces you to close — rent, payroll, utilities, and lost income continue to get paid while you rebuild. Often overlooked, always essential.

From Exposed to Covered in 4 Steps

Most businesses get their insurance wrong. Here's how we fix it — and keep it fixed.

Coverage Audit

We review every existing policy, identify gaps and overlaps, and map your actual risk exposures against what you currently have — or don't have.

Carrier Comparison

Your risk profile goes out to 8+ A-rated carriers simultaneously. We present the best value options — not just the cheapest — with apples-to-apples coverage breakdowns.

Policy Binding

You select the right fit and we handle binding, documentation, certificates of insurance, and additional insured endorsements. Coverage is active before we're done.

Annual Review + Optimization

Your business changes. Payroll grows, equipment is added, new services launch. We review every policy annually and adjust mid-year if a significant change happens first.

Frequently Asked Questions

What insurance does my business actually need?

It depends on your structure, industry, headcount, and revenue — which is exactly why we start with an audit rather than a guess. At minimum, most businesses need general liability. Service businesses (consultants, agencies, accountants, coaches, tech firms) need professional liability E&O on top of that. Any business handling customer data needs cyber liability. If you own or lease a physical space, commercial property rounds out the BOP. Workers' comp is legally required in most states once you have W-2 employees. We'll map what applies to you specifically during the audit.

How is the $298 audit different from a free broker quote?

A free broker quote is designed to sell you a policy — not to tell you what you actually need or what you already have wrong. Our audit reviews your existing coverage first, identifies gaps and redundancies, maps your real risk exposures against your industry and revenue, and then brings quotes that fill the gaps. You get a written report you own regardless of whether you move to placement. The audit fee is credited toward the Full Setup package if you upgrade.

What does "8+ carrier comparison" mean in practice?

We submit your business profile to eight or more A-rated insurance carriers simultaneously and present the results side by side — same coverage terms, same limits, apples to apples. You see pricing differences that can range from 30% to 200% for identical coverage. Most small businesses have only ever been quoted by one or two carriers. The comparison almost always finds meaningfully better pricing or better coverage for the same price.

Do I need to switch brokers to work with Boojee?

No. For the Audit & Quote package, we review your existing policies and deliver a comparison — no switching required. If you move to the Full Setup, we handle the new placements directly and can coordinate cancellation or non-renewal of policies you're replacing. We don't require exclusivity; our job is to make sure you're properly covered, not to lock you in.

What happens during the annual coverage review?

Managed Coverage clients get a structured annual review 60 days before any policy renewal. We look at changes in revenue, headcount, services, locations, and equipment — then assess whether limits, deductibles, and coverage types still match. If a significant business change happens mid-year (new hire, new service line, office move, equipment purchase), we trigger an interim review. Renewals are renegotiated, not auto-renewed at whatever the carrier proposes.
