Licensing Strategy

Your IP. Earning While You Sleep.

IP attorneys charge $300–$600/hr to draft licensing agreements that still leave money on the table because they don't know how to structure deals. Boojee turns your method, brand, process, or proprietary technology into a revenue stream through structured licensing: B2B deals, creator partnerships, and brand collaborations that pay you royalties without constant hustle.

What We Do

Six Disciplines. One Revenue Engine.

From valuing what you own to tracking every dollar it earns, Boojee handles the full licensing lifecycle.

IP Audit & Valuation

We catalog every protectable asset — patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, proprietary methods — and assign market-rate royalty benchmarks so you know what you're sitting on before you negotiate.

Licensing Model Design

Exclusive vs. non-exclusive, territory-specific, field-of-use, sublicensable — we design the right licensing architecture for your goals, assets, and risk tolerance.

Royalty Structure

Percentage-of-revenue, flat fee, milestone-based, tiered, or hybrid — we build the royalty formula that aligns incentives and protects your upside as the licensee scales.

Partner Identification

We run a targeted search across B2B operators, creator networks, and brand partners — finding the licensees with the distribution, audience, or manufacturing reach to maximize your royalty volume.

Deal Term Negotiation Support

We help you prepare term sheets, advance rates, minimum guarantees, audit rights, and termination clauses — so you walk into every deal with leverage, not guesswork.

Revenue Tracking Setup

We configure dashboards, reporting cadences, and audit triggers so you always know what's owed, when it's due, and whether your licensees are under-reporting.

IP That Pays Back

"We had a proprietary training framework sitting unused on a shelf. Boojee ran the IP audit, designed a non-exclusive B2B licensing model, and helped us sign three corporate clients in 60 days. The royalties now cover our entire overhead."

FAQ

Questions We Get Every Time

What types of IP can you license?
Almost any protectable asset — including trademarks, copyrights, proprietary business methods, software, course content, brand personas, trade secrets, product designs, and creative works. During the IP audit we help you identify which assets have the strongest licensing potential and the clearest protection path.
Do I need a patent to license my IP?
No. Many of the most valuable licenses in the world are built around trade secrets, brand equity, or proprietary methods — none of which require patent registration. Patents can strengthen your position, but they're not a prerequisite for earning royalties. We work with whatever protection you currently have and advise on strengthening it.
How long does a typical licensing deal take to close?
Simple non-exclusive deals with existing partners can close in 30–60 days from first conversation. Complex exclusive arrangements with due diligence, territory carve-outs, and minimum guarantees typically take 90–180 days. Our Managed tier is designed to accelerate this timeline by handling outreach and deal prep concurrently.
What's the difference between the Full Program and Managed?
The Full Program delivers strategy, documentation, and a qualified partner list — then hands the execution to you. Managed means Boojee is in the room with you: we initiate outreach, prepare positioning briefs, support live negotiations, and run quarterly royalty reviews to make sure you're collecting what you're owed.
Is this legal advice?
No. Boojee provides business strategy, model design, and deal preparation support — not legal advice. We strongly recommend engaging a licensed IP attorney before executing any licensing agreement. We can recommend counsel and prepare briefing materials to make that engagement faster and less expensive.
