Common questions.

Is firearm storage legal without an FFL?

Yes. Storing a firearm for safekeeping (bailment) does not require a Federal Firearms License. You retain full ownership of your firearm. We are not taking possession for the purpose of transfer or sale — only secure storage. Background check and ID are required for our own intake process and liability.

Can I access my unit after hours?

Yes. All units come with 24/7 access via your individual code. Estate Vault clients can arrange a dedicated access window or request 24/7 access at the time of intake.

How do I get started?

Contact us with what you'd like to store and we'll walk through unit selection, availability, and intake. Firearm clients require ID and background check before move-in. All other clients require ID on file.

Is there insurance?

We recommend renters or valuables insurance on stored items. Boojee Storage maintains general liability coverage on the facility. We do not insure client property as part of the monthly fee, but can recommend coverage options at intake.

What can't be stored?

No perishables, no hazardous materials, no live ammunition stored separately from a firearm (ammunition must be in a locked case within the vault). No illegal items. Full restricted items list provided at intake.
