Bid on real local jobs.
No lead fees.
You quote your price. Homeowners choose from competing bids. Boojee handles the customer side — payments, escrow, and project coordination. Free to apply and get verified. 10% platform fee on completion only — nothing until you earn.
Work, matched to you.
We're building the supply side of a managed marketplace. This is a founding-contractor opportunity — not a saturated lead pool.
Homeowners post job descriptions, photos, category, and rough budget before you see anything. You bid on real project detail — not a 10-word lead card shared with five other contractors before you even pick up the phone.
Homeowners who post on Boojee go through a structured intake: job category, scope, budget, and contact details. They're comparing bids, not tire-kicking. Escrow funding is in place before work begins — you're not chasing payment after the fact.
No marketing spend. No customer acquisition overhead. You bring the tools, the license, and the craft. Boojee handles the project agreement, escrow, and fund release. When a dispute arises, we mediate against the documented scope — both sides are protected.
Straight talk on requirements.
Boojee is a managed marketplace, not a lead bazaar. We verify before we route — so homeowners trust the bids they receive. Here's what that means for you.
- License number encouraged — state contractor license if your trade requires it (some don’t). Providing yours speeds up verification and increases homeowner confidence in your bids.
- Insurance carrier required — we need your insurer’s name. A certificate of insurance is ideal; at minimum we need to know you’re covered before routing jobs to you.
- Service area — the ZIP code, city/state, or radius you actually work. We route jobs within your real range, not blast them statewide.
- One-time verification — Boojee reviews your credentials against state contractor registries after you apply. Typically 1–3 business days. We re-verify annually.
- No subscription or upfront payment — the 10% platform fee is deducted from your project earnings on completion. You pay nothing until you earn.
We’ve opened a dedicated land-clearing lane for excavation and brush crews. Homeowners post overgrown lots, timber removal, grading prep, and site clearing jobs. If you run a clearing crew, this lane is live and we’re looking for founding contractors now.
From application to paycheck.
Four steps. Free to start. You pay nothing until you win and complete a job.
Fill out the contractor form: name, trade, license number (if applicable), insurance carrier, service area, and email. One-time application — no account required to start.
Boojee checks your state contractor license, insurance, and business history. Typically 1–3 business days. We email you when verification is complete.
When a homeowner posts in your trade and service area, Boojee routes it to you. Real scope, real photos — not a shared lead card. You review and decide whether to bid.
Submit your bid directly to the homeowner. If selected, Boojee manages the project agreement and escrow. Funds release on homeowner approval. Boojee takes 10% at that point — you keep the rest.
Common questions.
Is it free to join?
Yes. Applying, getting verified, and bidding are all free. Boojee takes a 10% platform fee from your project earnings on completion only. There’s no subscription, no lead purchase fee, and no monthly charge of any kind.
How do I get paid?
Once you complete the job and the homeowner approves the work, funds release from Boojee-managed escrow to you. Boojee’s 10% is deducted at that point. You keep the rest on a clear payment schedule — no chasing invoices, no net-60 terms.
What does Boojee take?
10% of the project value, taken from your earnings on completion only. Nothing upfront. No monthly fee. No per-bid charge. The 10% covers Boojee’s escrow management, dispute mediation, platform routing, and contractor verification — costs that come from our side, not added on top for the homeowner.
Do I need a license to apply?
A license number is encouraged and speeds up verification — it also makes your bids more credible to homeowners. That said, some trades don’t require state licensure. We ask for your insurance carrier regardless of licensing status. Uninsured applicants are harder to verify and less likely to win bids on the platform.
What kinds of jobs are available?
Residential and commercial property work across all trades: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, painting, flooring, carpentry, remodeling, masonry, general repair, landscaping, pool and pressure washing — and a dedicated land and lot clearing lane for excavation and brush crews. If you have a specialty not listed here, apply and note it in your application.
How long does verification take?
Typically 1–3 business days after you submit your application. We check your state contractor registry, insurance information, and business history. You’ll receive an email when your verification is complete and you’re cleared to receive job matches.
