Who is executive coaching for?
Executive coaching is designed for senior leaders — typically VP, SVP, C-suite, or Founder level — who are navigating meaningful transition or performance plateaus. This includes leaders who have been recently promoted and need to make the leap quickly, leaders who are technically strong but struggling with influence or political navigation at senior levels, and high-potential directors building toward their first executive role. If you're performing competently but not leading transformatively, coaching will close that gap. We do not work with early-career professionals or managers below a Director level.
How is coaching different from consulting?
Consulting delivers answers. Coaching builds the capacity to generate better answers yourself. A consultant will tell you what to do with your org structure. A coach will help you see the patterns in how you're thinking about your org structure, understand why certain approaches feel stuck, and develop the leadership judgment that makes you better at these decisions permanently. That said, our coaches bring deep domain experience in strategy, operations, and people leadership — so we don't shy away from sharing perspective when it's useful. The distinction is that we're building you, not building for you.
Is everything confidential?
Completely. All sessions are protected by a mutual NDA signed before the engagement begins. If your employer is sponsoring your coaching, we provide progress summaries only — never session content — and only with your explicit prior consent for each summary. What is discussed in coaching stays in coaching. This isn't a policy we bend for HR departments, executive sponsors, or anyone else. Our clients include C-suite leaders navigating board politics, potential career moves, and sensitive organizational issues — total confidentiality is not optional, it is foundational.
How are sessions conducted?
Sessions are conducted via secure video call on the platform of your choice — Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet. C-Suite Mastery clients also receive two in-person intensive days (location agreed upon, travel not included). For Tier 2 and Tier 3 clients, async support is available between sessions via a private encrypted channel — voice notes, text, or documents. All session recordings are at the client's discretion; we do not record without explicit consent. Sessions are scheduled at a fixed recurring time to fit around board schedules, travel, and investor calendars.
