What payroll platform do you recommend?

It depends on your employee count, state, and accounting software. Gusto is our most common recommendation for businesses under 25 employees due to its automation and tax filing integration. QuickBooks Payroll works best if you're already on QBO. We evaluate every option before recommending — no kickback bias.

Can you handle contractors and employees?

Yes. Most platforms handle both W-2 employees and 1099 contractors. We configure both in a single system so year-end reporting (W-2s and 1099-NECs) is handled automatically. No separate spreadsheets, no January scramble.

What if I'm already behind on filings?

We can still set up your payroll system going forward. For past-due filings and penalty abatement, we'll refer you to a payroll-specialist CPA — then get your ongoing system configured so it never happens again. We'll make sure there's no gap between where you are and where you need to be.

Do you do ongoing payroll management?

Setup is one-time. Ongoing management — running payroll every cycle, managing new hires and terminations, reviewing quarterly filings — is available as an add-on and quoted separately based on your team size and pay frequency. Ask about it in the intake form below.

What states do you cover?

All 50 states. Multi-state businesses (employees in more than one state) are handled in the Full Payroll Setup package. We register the SUI and income tax accounts in every state where you have employees — not just your home state.
